Resources · Covered for years

Backed by a 7-year Tarion warranty.

Every Ironstone home is covered by Ontario's Tarion warranty across 1-, 2- and 7-year milestones, with our Service Team beside you the whole way.

Peace of mind, built in.

When you buy a new Ironstone home, you're protected by the Tarion warranty, Ontario's mandatory new-home warranty program. It's coverage you don't have to ask for; it comes standard with every home we build.

Tarion is a private corporation that oversees all new-home builders in Ontario and administers the province's Ontario New Home Warranties Plan Act. Because Ironstone is a licensed builder, your home is covered the moment you take possession, no extra paperwork, no add-on fees.

The result is simple: you can settle into your new home knowing that the major systems, materials and workmanship behind it are backed by a province-regulated warranty, and by a builder who plans to be around long after closing day.

Your coverage, year by year.

The Tarion warranty is structured around three milestones, 1 year, 2 years and 7 years, all measured from the day you take occupancy. Each milestone covers a different layer of the home.

1 yr

Workmanship and materials

The first-year warranty addresses workmanship and materials, helping ensure your home is built to the standards set out by Tarion and meets the Ontario Building Code.

From the day you take occupancy
2 yr

Key systems of the home

The two-year warranty extends protection to key systems of the home, covering certain defects in materials and workmanship over a longer window than the first year.

7 yr

Major structural elements

The seven-year warranty provides long-term coverage for major structural elements of your home, the longest milestone in Tarion's program.

The exact scope of each milestone is defined and administered by Tarion. For the full, current terms of what's covered at every stage, we point homeowners directly to Tarion's own resources so you always have the authoritative details.

Emergencies don't wait. Neither do we.

A warranty emergency is any warrantable deficiency within the builder's control that, if not promptly addressed, could lead to imminent and significant damage to the home, or pose an immediate and serious risk to the health and safety of its occupants.

If something like that happens after you move in, you shouldn't have to navigate it alone. Our Service Team is built to respond, and Ironstone's 24-hour emergency line is there for exactly those urgent, can't-wait situations.

The rest of the time, we're here for the ordinary stuff too, the questions, the adjustments and the fine-tuning that turn a brand-new house into a home you trust.
